Tripolia Nursing School has grown to become one of the best education entities in Patna, Bihar and is recognized for excellence in provisional Paramedical and Nursing Education with the solitary motives to give a big boost to the program of standard & qualitative teaching primarily in Paramedical and Nursing.

Overview

Tripolia Social Service Hospital popularly known as zanani hospital was established in the year 1893 by the Bible and Medical mission society, then known as Dutchess of Tech Hospital. In the year 1967 — 68 the Ownership, management and administration of this Hospital was taken over by the Sisters of Mercy of the Holy Cross, in India — a Christian religious organization and registered this hospital under the Society's Registration Act 21 of 1860 as Tripolia Social Service Society having its registration No. 30 of 1967 — 68 from 1974 to 1992 this had nine months midwifery course recognized by the Indian Nursing Council of India. The Tripolia Social Service Hospital is an unit of this Registered Society, it has other units such as Pre — school and Service Centre for Hearing impaired, Non — formal education for street children and Nursing training courses. We also collaborate with Government of Bihar with AIDS, Dots and Immunization programs. We extend our service to Fatuha villages, which are within a radius of 30 Kms from the centre through comprehensive community health care.

In 1996 the school of Nursing came into existence with the two year Auxiliary Nurses Midwifery (ANM) course and in 2007 three year General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course. The aim of this institution is:-

*To educate young women to Carly out safe and quality nursing care to the patients.

*To prepare nurses to participate effectively in the National health care delivery system.

The excellent academic records of our students not only end with results but also get translated into fruitful career in several corporates. Our Alumnis are doing great work in their respective domains and raise the bar of excellence.

Our Mission

Tripolia Nursing Institute is owned by the sisters of Mercy of the Holy Cross it operates in collaboration with the entire hospital staff, the church, the local people Government and existing agencies. Considering this healing ministry as an extension of the mission of the church following the examples of Jesus Christ who come on earth to show God's love for all people.

The Nurse has incredible opportunity to make a difference in somebody's life everyday through the healing ministry. When she holds a patients hand before a procedure, listing to their concerns with empathy, comforting a frightened child she becomes a blessing.

Tripolia School of Nursing offers GNM and ANM courses which has recognition from Bihar Nurses Registration council Indian Nursing council and our school is affiliated to Mid India board of Education of the CMAI, Nagpur. Our School has excellent, efficient and highly motivated faculties who plan meticulously all the curricular and Co-curricular activities for the students. The school has got the well equipped advanced Skill lab, Library and other facilities. Most importantly the students get better opportunities for clinical learning in parent hospital with 250 beds. Our School is affiliated to NMCH (Nalanda Medical College Hospital) for exposure and training in Medical and surgical Nursing. Our student excels in arts, curricular and Co- curricular activities. Our Alumnae are sought after by every medical institutions:- Private and government for their excellence discipline and devotion in their Nursing Profession.
